The End of Mad Davy Cudlin
by Mark Lazer

There once was a man named Mad Davy Cudlin
Who lived on the outskirts of fair Dublin

A passionate alchemist he was of trade
He made a brew that was "nothing short of great"

On the marketplace he declared loud and bold
"A potion that turns Guinness into gold!"

A crowd came 'round to see who yelled so loud
There they saw liquid gold without a doubt

Then they tore Davy's limbs apart bare-handed
"What on earth did I do wrong," he demanded!

"Goodness me!' The last thing that he ever said
Right after, the mob ripped off his Big Head.

The simple moral of this story is:
You can't improve on the recipe of fair Guinness!
